Getting started
Open Clockflux
Open clockflux.app in a browser. There is nothing to sign up for — the free plan works immediately with no account. On a phone or desktop, your browser will usually offer to install it as an app; that step is optional, and installing it means it opens like any other app, even with no internet connection.
Record your first day
Tap the toggle to check in, and tap it again to check out. Clockflux keeps a running timer while you are checked in and adds each session to the day’s total. Taking a lunch break? Check out, then check back in when you return — a day can hold as many sessions as you need. Tracking your hours covers the totals, the weekly target and fixing mistakes.
Tell it about your week
Clockflux assumes Saturday and Sunday off and an 8-hour working day. If your weekend falls on other days, change it in Settings → Weekend, so your weekly target and streaks line up with the days you actually work. See Calendar and days off.
Set your holiday allowance
Open Settings → Holiday to enter your annual holiday allowance and choose whether it accrues gradually through the year or is available all at once. If you started your job partway through the year, add your start date and the allowance is prorated for you. The holiday allowance article explains the maths.
Already have some overtime?
If you start using Clockflux in a job you have been doing for a while, enter the overtime balance you are bringing with you in Settings → Overtime. It becomes the starting point of your running balance in the Health view.
