Calendar and days off
The month view, the four kinds of day off, half days, and setting which days are your weekend.
The month at a glance
The Calendar tab shows one month at a time: the hours you logged on each day, the days you took off, and your weekends. Tap any day to open it, where you can edit its sessions or change what kind of day it was.
Four kinds of day off
Marking a day off removes it from your weekly target, so a week with a day off is judged fairly. Clockflux tells apart four kinds, because they affect your holiday allowance differently:
- Personal 🌴 — holiday or vacation. This is the only kind that counts against your annual holiday allowance.
- Sick 🤒 — sick leave. Does not use up your allowance.
- Official — a public or bank holiday. Does not use up your allowance. Shown with a 🇨🇭 flag by default; Pro lets you pick your own country’s flag.
- Unpaid 💸 — unpaid leave. Does not use up your allowance.
Half days
Personal, sick and unpaid days can also be half days. A half day off halves that day’s target — 4 hours instead of 8 — and you are expected to work the other half as normal. A half personal day uses 0.5 days of your holiday allowance. Public holidays are always whole days.
Marking several days at once
Going away for a week or two? Press Select above the calendar, tap each day you will be away, and mark them all off in one go rather than opening each day separately. Weekend days can’t be selected, so they never eat into your allowance.
Your weekend
By default Clockflux treats Saturday and Sunday as your weekend. If you work a different pattern — Sunday to Thursday, say, or a four-day week — set your days off in Settings → Weekend. Clockflux uses them for your weekly target, for streaks, and to skip weekend days when you mark a stretch of days off. This setting is free.
