Clockflux now speaks Spanish
Themes: App feature2 min readBy David Lawrence
A day after French, Clockflux has a third language. From today the app is available in Spanish, on the free plan and on Pro.
It was on the work-in-progress page as "Clockflux in Spanish", and it's now under Recently shipped.
What's new
The app now comes in English, Français and Español. When you switch to Spanish, everything in the app changes with it: the tracker, the calendar, the holiday planner, the Health view, Settings, the setup wizard and the tour.
Dates and day names follow the language too, so the calendar shows "lun" rather than "Mon". If your browser is set to a regional variety of Spanish, Clockflux keeps that region's formatting, so someone in Mexico or Argentina still sees dates the way they expect.
How to switch
- Open Settings.
- At the top, under Language, pick Español.
The app changes straight away, with no reload. Your choice is saved with the rest of your settings, and if you're signed in it follows you to your other devices.
A few things to know
- English is still the default. Clockflux doesn't guess your language from your browser. It starts in English until you pick something else.
- This site and the pricing page speak Spanish too. The docs, guides, tools and this blog are all in Spanish at info.clockflux.app/es (opens in a new tab), and the Pro pricing and checkout pages at account.clockflux.app/es (opens in a new tab). Where a French guide quotes French law, the Spanish one quotes Spain's Estatuto de los Trabajadores instead.
- It's free. Language isn't a Pro feature. Every plan gets it.
What's next
If there's another language you'd like to see, or a Spanish translation that reads oddly, we'd like to hear about it. The Getting started guide has the steps above if you need them again.
