About Clockflux
Clockflux is a free work hours tracker: one tap to check in, one to check out, and it keeps your daily, weekly and yearly totals, your overtime balance and your holiday allowance for you. Here is who makes it, and how.
Who builds Clockflux
Clockflux is designed, built and run by David Lawrence. Work on it started in March 2026, and it has been shipping small improvements ever since: the work-in-progress page shows what is being built now, and the blog explains each change. The guides and blog posts on this site are written by David Lawrence too.
Why it exists
Most time trackers are built for employers, invoicing or teams. Clockflux is for one person who wants an honest answer to “how much am I actually working?”: whether the week is on track, whether overtime is quietly piling up, and how many holiday days are left. It records your own hours, for you, and nobody else sees them.
How it is funded
The tracker, the calendar, holiday allowance tracking and the Health view are free, with no account and no time limit, and they stay free. Clockflux is paid for by an optional subscription, Clockflux Pro, which adds cloud sync, exports and a few other extras. Your data is never sold.
Your data
On the free plan, everything you track stays in your own browser and is never sent anywhere. With Pro, your account and time entries are stored on servers in the EU so they can sync between your devices. The privacy notice lists exactly what is kept, and the terms name who you are dealing with.
