Clockflux Pro
An optional subscription on top of the free tracker. Everything that is free stays free.
What Pro adds
- Cloud sync: your sessions, days off and settings stay in step on every device you sign in on. Start your day on your phone, finish it on your laptop.
- Exports: your raw time entries as CSV for spreadsheets, payroll or invoicing; a ready-to-send PDF report of your hours for any date range, for timesheets; and an .ics calendar file with your days off, to see them in Google Calendar, Outlook or Apple Calendar.
- Custom daily target: your own expected hours per day instead of 8, so your weekly target, overtime and on-track signals match your contract.
- Holiday carryover: unused holiday days roll into the next year instead of disappearing on 1 January.
- Holiday planner: map out the days you have left for the rest of the year, see the effect on your year-end balance, then book the whole plan or any single day in one go.
- Task tracking: pick a task when you check in, switch tasks in one tap, and see how many hours went to each one, in the app and in your exports. How it works.
- AI assistants: connect Claude, Cursor, Codex and other AI assistants to your Clockflux data. Ask how many hours you worked this week or how many vacation days you have taken, and check in or out from a conversation. How to connect one.
- Weekly summary email: turn it on in Settings and every Sunday at about 18:00 your time you get the week’s hours against your target, your overtime balance and any check-out you may have forgotten. How it works.
- Unlimited history: your stats and history cover every year you have tracked, not just the current one.
- Personalisation: your own light and dark theme colours, your country’s flag for public holidays, and a small seasonal badge and seasonal tab icons during holidays through the year.
Connecting an AI assistant
Clockflux runs an MCP server, the open standard AI assistants use to reach outside tools. Once connected, an assistant can tell you whether you are checked in, add up your hours for any period, tell you how much overtime you have, list your days off for the year, and check you in or out when you ask it to. It can also correct your records when you ask: fix a forgotten check-out, add a session you didn’t track, delete one, or book and clear days off. Assistants are asked to confirm each correction with you first. Assistants that offer ready-made requests (often under / or a + menu) list seven from Clockflux: review my week, plan my remaining holidays, prepare my timesheet, plan my overtime, prepare my stand-up, wrap up my day, and check my records (not offered to a read-only token). In claude.ai, ChatGPT and other assistants that show apps, your status and overtime come as a small card with today’s and this week’s hours and buttons to check in, check out and take a break.
- In the app, open Settings → AI assistants and create a token. Give it a name you will recognise, such as “Claude on my laptop”.
- Copy the token straight away: it is shown once and never again, not even to us. If you lose it, revoke it and create a new one.
- Pick your assistant (Claude Code, Claude Desktop, Cursor, VS Code, Codex CLI or Gemini CLI) and paste the setup snippet it shows, which already contains your token.
Use one token per assistant, so you can revoke them one at a time from the same page. Tokens only work while your Pro plan is active. To let an assistant read your hours but never change them, switch off Allow changes when you create its token; on claude.ai and ChatGPT, switch off Allow it to make changes when you connect.
claude.ai needs no token. In claude.ai, open Customize → Connectors, choose Add custom connector, paste the server URL, https://api.clockflux.app/mcp (it is also shown in Settings → AI assistants), then sign in to Clockflux and allow access when asked. The connector also works in Claude’s mobile apps. It appears in your list of tokens, where you can revoke it like any other. ChatGPT connects the same way: turn on its developer mode, create a connector with the same URL and choose OAuth.
The weekly summary email
Once a week, Clockflux can email you where you stand, so you don’t have to open the app to find out. It’s off until you turn it on.
- In the app, open Settings → Weekly summary email, in the Account & data part of Settings.
- Switch on Email me a weekly summary. The note under the switch shows the address it goes to (the one you sign in with) and the time zone it uses.
The summary arrives on Sunday from 18:00 in your time zone, and covers the Monday to Sunday week ending that day. It gives the hours you worked against your target, with any days off taken into account, how far over or under the target you are, and your overtime balance. They’re worked out the same way as on the Health tab. If you seem to have forgotten to check out on a day, the email counts that session the way the app’s automatic check-out does, names the day, and links to the Calendar so you can check its hours. It’s written in the language you use Clockflux in: English, French or Spanish.
- A week with no work counted, such as a week off, gets no email.
- It counts what your devices had synced when it was sent, and says when they last synced.
- It uses the time zone your browser was in when you turned it on. If you move, switch it off and on again to update it.
- If you turn it on after 18:00 on a Sunday, your first summary comes the next Sunday. The day and time can’t be changed.
- To stop it, switch it off in Settings or use the unsubscribe link in any summary. That link stops only the summary, not other Clockflux emails. If you leave Pro, the summaries stop too.
The email shows your hours and overtime, so anyone who can read that inbox will see them. The privacy notice says what it contains and what we store to send it.
Signing in and your data
Pro needs an account, which you create by signing in with Google. Once you sign in, your name, email and time entries are stored on our servers so they can sync between your devices. The privacy notice spells out exactly what is kept and where, and how to have it erased.
Price, cancelling and refunds
See the current price on the pricing page. Pro renews until you cancel, and you can cancel it yourself at any time from Settings in the app. You keep Pro until the end of the period you have paid for, then drop back to the free plan. The refund policy and terms have the details.
